Osaka business park(OBP)
It is the business-and-leisure center, spreading to the heart of Osaka. The “Double Tower” standing in the centre of the park includes two 38-floor "smart" buildings, inside of which there are high-end ventures of all kinds. The four-floor gallery can be used to hold all kinds of exhibitions. Also, shops and restaurants with IMP which gather imported products from various countries are available. Osaka Park: is a large park with an area of 106.7 hectares, next to OBP. The symbol of Osaka----“Osaka Castle ”. Nostalgic buildings of brick-and-tile ----elegant “Osaka City Museum”. There are other cultural and natural scenic spots like the plum forest where plum flowers on 1250 plum trees are in blossom and the Cherry Shrine House and so on. As well, the biggest Osaka Hall in Japan and Osaka Outdoor Music Hall are also here and all kinds of concerts are held here.
Osaka Castle : has a history of more than 400 years. Since the completion of the Heisai Reconstruction, opera house and other facilities were added inside. As a museum, it is worth a trip. On the sightseeing stand on the top floor, you can see the view of Osaka and have a taste of being an emperor. You can also get a photo taken while wearing full period outfits, including samurai armor, for only 300 yen each time. You can really feel the culture of Osaka here within the castle! Osaka Hall: is the multi-functional hall inside Osaka Park. The most obvious feature of it is the oval dome. The surrounding plants, moats and stone walls are in great harmony with the inner view. The hall can contain 16 thousand people. With effective use of the capacity in Kansai and the newest acoustic and lighting equipment, concerts for domestic and foreign top artists, sport events and other large activities are held here. Apart from the stage space, there are conference halls and branch halls which can be used for exhibitions and seminars.
NHK Osaka Broadcasting House: is the new office building of NHK Osaka Broadcasting Bureau established on the ruins of Naniwa Palace to replace the old building in November, 2001. The building is 18 floors and 134 meters high. The big spherical courtyard is also very attractive. Besides the recording studio, there are all kinds of facilities in the advanced building. There is the “NHK Osaka Hall” which is for concerts and seminars only, studios which can be used to hold public performances and “BK Square” where you can experience the newest performing technology…BK Square allows common tourists to visit. Adjacent is the “Osaka History Museum”.
