Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium

Okinawa Churaumi (Beautiful Ocean) Aquarium is the world’s second largest aquarium, and it faithfully presents the mysterious beauty and the biodiversity of the sea around Okinawa. There are many places worthy of a visit in the aquarium; and the most attractive one is the largest tank in the world which has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Through the acrylic-made show window which is 2.5 meters wide and 8.2 meters high, you can see the huge bodies of whale sharks and manta rays which are swimming leisurely in the water. It is Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium that was the first in the world to breed natural coral, whale shark, and manta ray artificially on a large scale in an aquarium. Nago Pineapple Park

In Nago Pineapple Park, you can visit the spacious pineapple field on the cute Pineapple carts. There are approximately 100 different types of pineapple in the pineapple field, surrounded by coconut palms adding to the strong tropical flavor of the area. There are many other sightseeing spots in the park waiting for you, such as the “Tropical Garden” which has a variety of tropical plants with rich colors, and the Pineapple Factory, as well as other amusements.
